Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information RestorationPro collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers both the contractors who use our platform and the homeowners whose claims are documented within it.
1. Information we collect
Account information — name, email, phone, workspace name, and role for each user you create.
Claim and customer data — the loss details, scope lines, carrier and adjuster information, two-party check records, accounts-receivable figures, and homeowner contact details you enter.
Field documentation — photographs captured through the field-tech app, together with the GPS coordinates, timestamps, room tags, and moisture readings burned into or attached to each image.
Payment information — handled by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer and subscription identifier and the resulting status; we do not store full card numbers.
Usage and device data — standard logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) used to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide the service, authenticate users, process subscription payments, generate adjuster-ready documentation, send transactional messages (such as trial and billing notices), provide support, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell personal information.
3. Homeowner data
Homeowner information is provided to us by the contractor operating a workspace, who acts as the controller of that data. We process it on their behalf to deliver claim updates, the homeowner portal, and deductible payment flows. Homeowners with questions about their data should contact the restoration contractor handling their claim.
4. Sharing and sub-processors
We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform — including cloud hosting, database, object storage for photos, payment processing (Stripe), and email delivery. Each is bound to use the data only to provide their service to us. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the platform.
5. Data retention and security
We retain Customer Data for the life of your workspace and for a reasonable window afterward to allow export, then delete it in the ordinary course. Audit-relevant records may be retained longer to support deposition and coverage-dispute use. We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, scoped access controls, and per-workspace tenancy.
6. Your choices
Workspace owners can add and remove users, export their data, and request deletion of their workspace. Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information; we honor applicable requests submitted to privacy@restorationpro.app.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will notify workspace owners of material changes. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@restorationpro.app.
